Our Young Explorers Program offers kids from 9-13 the opportunity to spending time in the great outdoors, building the skills, strength, and confidence to tackle hiking, and camping in the backcountry.
Our Summit Club is the next step in our youth adventure series. Designed for teens 13-17, this program builds off the experiences of The Young Explorers program. Participants will be guided through all the aspects of planning trips, and will work towards the goal of hiking all 39 ascents of the Catskill high peaks, required to attain membership in the 3500 club. This series will also prepare the participants for longer journeys with a few overnight experiences. Readying them for the next offering in our series of youth adventurers, The Excelsior Adventure Club.
Our Excelsior Club is the next step in our youth adventure series. Designed for teens 13-17, this program builds off the experiences of The Young Explorers, and Summit Club programs. Participants will be guided through all the aspects of planning trips, and will even design their final outing with our careful guidance.
Looking to cross the Catskills high peaks off your list? This series offers a chance to schedule a guided trip of the bushwhack peaks. Our guides will work with you to design the route that suites your needs, and abilities. We will also offer multi-peak day trips for the trailed hikes in this series.
